Favorite Verses

These are some of my favorite Bible verses - life changing verses!  Many of these I have been working on comitting to memory.

 

 

Psalm 119:9-16, 97-104, 105

Psalm 111:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.
 
Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
 
Proverbs 16:3
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
 
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
 
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
 
2 Corinthians 5:19
God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them.

Ephesians 2:8-9

----- Other Notes of Favorite Verses -----
 
Just yesterday in the Sunday sermon a verse was mentioned that is one of my favorites.  From the fourth chapter of James.  'Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.'  Most go through life ignoring God.  Some go through life contemplating God.  A number of people go through life trying to follow a bunch of rules that they say come from God.  But I think very few people actually draw near to God.
